Barrios declined his outright assignment to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday, making him a free agent.
Barrios underwent rotator cuff surgery in April, which could harm his market value a bit. Despite this, he did perform well in a brief cup of coffee with the Brewers in 2015 (0 ER, 7 K in 6.2 innings pitched), so he could attract some interest if he can get back to 100 percent in a timely manner.
