Hunter Goodman RF | COL
Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Stays on fire in win
Goodman went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, an RBI double and a walk in Friday's 3-0 win over the Padres.
Goodman has rattled off three straight three-hit games, and he has four of them over his last six contests. He's also racked up 10 RBI in that longer span, which has all been at hitter-friendly Coors Field. The catcher is up to a .285/.331/.538 slash line with 28 homers, 85 RBI, 66 runs scored, 25 doubles, four triples and one stolen base over 124 games this season.

Dalton Rushing C | LAD
Dodgers' Dalton Rushing: Battling bruised shin
Rushing was pulled from Friday's game versus Baltimore with a right lower-leg contusion.
Rushing needed to be helped off the field after fouling a ball off his leg in the sixth inning, but the fact that the Dodgers are calling his injury a bruise suggests he managed to escape without any fractures. Los Angeles is expected to be without Will Smith (hand) for the entirety of the series against the O's, so Rushing's injury could spell increased playing time for Ben Rortvedt.

Dalton Rushing C | LAD
Dodgers' Dalton Rushing: Exits with injury
Rushing was removed from Friday's game against the Orioles with a right shin/knee injury, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Rushing was in quite a bit of pain after fouling a ball off his right leg in the sixth inning, and he had to be carried off the field by the Dodgers' training staff. The team will take a closer look at him to determine if he suffered any fractures as a result of the incident and should offer an update in the near future. With Will Smith (hand) also nursing an injury, Ben Rortvedt could be in line to make a few starts behind the plate over the next several days.

Reese McGuire C | CHC
Cubs' Reese McGuire: Goes deep in win
McGuire went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 11-5 win over the Nationals.
McGuire was making his second straight start for a resting Carson Kelly, and the former delivered his eighth home run of the season Friday. The veteran backstop has been thrust into a more prominent role this year with Miguel Amaya being limited to only 28 games so far due to a sprained ankle and an oblique injury before that. McGuire has limited fantasy upside in his backup role, and Kelly should be back in the lineup soon.

Freddy Fermin C | SD
Padres' Freddy Fermin: Taking seat Friday
Fermin isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rockies.
Fermin will step out of the lineup for the second straight game after going 3-for-14 with three runs scored across his last five contests. Elias Diaz will catch for starter Nick Pivetta and bat ninth.

Will Smith C | LAD
Dodgers' Will Smith: Will have to manage bone bruise
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Smith has a bone bruise in his right hand that he'll likely have to manage for the rest of the season, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
A CT scan cleared Smith of any fractures, but he's likely to be held out of action for the entirety of the Dodgers' weekend series with the Orioles and could have to deal with discomfort down the stretch of the season. Dalton Rushing will start at catcher Friday, and Ben Rortvedt has been called up from Triple-A Oklahoma City to serve as Rushing's backup while Smith remains day-to-day.

Yohel Pozo C | STL
Cardinals' Yohel Pozo: Reinstated from concussion IL
The Cardinals activated Pozo (concussion) from the 7-day injured list Friday.
Pozo missed the past week of action after experiencing concussion symptoms following a foul tip to his catcher's mask. He's bypassing a rehab assignment and going directly back onto the active roster. Pozo has some limited experience at first base and could see playing time there while Willson Contreras serves a four-game suspension.

Henry Davis RF | PIT
Pirates' Henry Davis: Absent from lineup
Davis is not in the lineup for Friday's contest against the Brewers.
It will be Joey Bart doing the catching for Friday's series opener. Davis is 1-for-17 with 10 strikeouts over his last five games.
