Huascar Brazoban RP | NYM
Mets' Huascar Brazoban: Up from Syracuse
The Mets recalled Brazoban from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.
Brazoban has put up a 3.91 ERA and 1.32 WHIP across 53 innings in the big leagues this season. He'll rejoin the Mets' bullpen to provide the team with an additional fresh arm, replacing Justin Hagenman, and is likely to work primarily in middle relief.

Seth Martinez RP | MIA
Marlins' Seth Martinez: Jettisoned from 40-man
The Marlins designated Martinez for assignment Thursday.
Martinez has made six appearances since joining the active roster Aug. 27, across which he coughed up four earned runs over 6.2 innings. He'll now lose his place on the MLB and 40-man rosters to make room for Ryan Weathers' (lat) return from the 60-day IL.

Yosver Zulueta SP | CIN
Reds' Yosver Zulueta: Pushed back to Triple-A
The Reds optioned Zulueta to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.
With Graham Ashcraft (forearm) and Chase Burns (elbow) both returning from the injured list Thursday, the Reds will move Zulueta and Lyon Richardson to Triple-A in order to create roster space. Zulueta gave up two runs over two innings during his latest stint with Cincinnati, elevating his big-league ERA to 6.14 through 7.1 frames.

Graham Ashcraft SP | CIN
Reds' Graham Ashcraft: Makes return from IL
The Reds activated Ashcraft (forearm) from the 15-day injured list Thursday.
Ashcraft was shelved for the past two weeks with a right forearm strain, but he'll skip a rehab assignment and rejoin the Reds' bullpen for their weekend series against the Athletics. The right-hander has posted a 3.72 ERA and 56:24 K:BB over 58 innings in 2025 in his first season as a full-time reliever.

Lyon Richardson SP | CIN
Reds' Lyon Richardson: Sent to Triple-A
The Reds optioned Richardson to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.
Richardson will be sent down to the minors alongside Yosver Zulueta in order to make room on the active roster for Graham Ashcraft (forearm) and Chase Burns (elbow), both of whom returned from the injured list Thursday. Richardson, 25, surrendered three earned runs in one inning during his lone appearance since being promoted Sept. 3 and now carries a 4.54 ERA and 1.54 WHIP through 37.2 MLB frames.

Taylor Rogers RP | CHC
Cubs' Taylor Rogers: Earns win Wednesday
Rogers (3-2) tossed a scoreless inning of relief to earn the win in Wednesday's 3-2 victory over Atlanta.
Jameson Taillon was making his return from the injured list after missing the past few weeks with a strained left groin, and he was limited to only 4.1 innings in the start. Rogers was first up out of the bullpen, which set him up for his third win of the year and first since joining the Cubs at the trade deadline. The veteran lefty now has a 3.35 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 10.1 K/9 across 45.2 innings this season split between Cincinnati and Chicago.

Tony Santillan RP | CIN
Reds' Tony Santillan: Records save Wednesday
Santillan notched a save against San Diego on Wednesday, allowing one hit and striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning.
After Cincinnati finally got to Padres pitching with a pair of runs in the eighth inning to go up 2-1, Santillan was summoned in the ninth to protect the tenuous lead. The right-hander surrendered a leadoff double to Gavin Sheets but bounced back to retire the next three hitters in order, finishing off the save with a strikeout of Bryce Johnson. Santillan has registered a save in two of three appearances spanning the past four days. However, Emilio Pagan is probably still the favorite for saves out of the Reds' bullpen -- he wasn't used Wednesday, but that may have been because he pitched each of the previous two days.

Andrew Kittredge RP | BAL
Cubs' Andrew Kittredge: Closes out Atlanta for save
Kittredge picked up the save Wednesday against Atlanta, striking out one in a clean ninth inning.
It's notable that Kittredge saw Chicago's first save opportunity since closer Daniel Palencia (shoulder) landed on the injured list. That usage would appear to put him first in line for future save chances, though it's certainly still possible that manager Craig Counsell has a committee approach in mind for his closer position for the time being. Kittredge is worth a speculative add in most fantasy formats as this situation unfolds -- the veteran right-hander owns a 3.45 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 52:10 K:BB through 47 innings on the season.

Orlando Ribalta P | WAS
Nationals' Orlando Ribalta: Sent down to Rochester
The Nationals optioned Ribalta to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday.
Since being promoted into Washington's bullpen Aug. 1, Ribalta has turned in a 5.27 ERA and 1.90 WHIP alongside a 15:11 K:BB across 13.2 innings. The 27-year-old's subpar performance will now cause him to return to the minors in anticipation of MacKenzie Gore's (shoulder) return from the injured list Thursday.
