Henderson went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's win against the White Sox.

Henderson delivered RBI singles in the third and fifth innings for his first multi-RBI game since Aug. 18. Over his previous 24 games, he had driven in just five runs while producing a .592 OPS. Henderson is still in a power slump and his homerless drought stands at 20 games. He's slashing .272/.348/.440 with 64 RBI and 82 runs scored this season through 604 plate appearances.

Volpe (shoulder) is starting at shortstop and batting eighth Tuesday against the Twins.

The 24-year-old shortstop will return to the starting nine for the first time since Sept. 9. Volpe has been dealing with a partially torn left labrum since May, but he received a cortisone injection last week and has improved enough to re-enter the lineup. The 2025 campaign has mostly been a struggle for Volpe, who has a .661 OPS while taking a step back defensively with minus-9 OAA and plus-1 DRS, which are significant drops from the plus-14 OAA and plus-6 DRS he posted during the 2024 regular season. Volpe and Jose Caballero are likely to split reps at shortstop to close out the season.

Lee is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Lee has a .178/.240/.289 slash line through 13 games in September and will take a seat Tuesday after starting the previous four contests. Ryan Fitzgerald will instead start at shortstop and bat eighth versus New York righty Cam Schlittler.

The Angels placed Neto on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to Sept. 13, due to a left hand strain.

The 24-year-old shortstop hasn't seen the field since Thursday due to the injury. While Neto will technically be eligible to return for the final six contests of the regular season, the Angels will opt to shut down for the rest of the year, per Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com. The 24-year-old will close out 2025 with a .257/.319/.474 slash line, 26 homers, 26 stolen bases, 62 RBI and 82 runs in 128 games.

Williams is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Blue Jays.

Williams had started each of the previous six games, but he'll begin Tuesday's festivities on the bench. Tristan Gray will play shortstop and bat seventh for the Rays.

Bichette could return in time for the postseason after a second opinion confirmed that the PCL sprain in his left knee will not require surgery, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

Bichette last played Sept. 6 and while he won't play again during the regular season, it seems there is optimism the shortstop can return in time for the playoffs. The Blue Jays have been using Andres Gimenez at shortstop of late in Bichette's stead.

Lee went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's victory over the Yankees.

Lee snapped a 15-game homerless stretch Monday by launching his 15th bomb of the season. The shortstop has flashed potential but has largely underwhelmed in his first full big-league campaign, carrying a .664 OPS across 129 games.

The Mariners promoted Emerson from Double-A Arkansas to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Divish notes that Tacoma needed help in the infield, so Emerson is in line for his first taste of Triple-A. He's been scorching hot for Double-A Arkansas of late, as he was riding a nine-game hitting streak prior to his promotion. Emerson will finish his time at Arkansas with a .282/.360/.430 slash line with three home runs and seven stolen bases in 161 plate appearances.

Seager (abdomen) did some light jogging on the field Monday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Seager underwent an appendectomy Aug. 28 and he remains sore, Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Monday. A return before the end of the season for Seager remains possible, but it doesn't appear imminent. Josh Smith has served as Texas' primary shortstop since Seager went on the 10-day injured list.

Volpe is not starting for the Yankees against the Twins on Monday, but New York manager Aaron Boone relayed that the 24-year-old shortstop is healthy enough to be a "full player," Max Goodman of NJ.com reports.

Volpe will be out of the Yankees' starting lineup for a sixth consecutive game, but the cortisone shot he received for his partially torn labrum has helped in his recovery. Boone said that Volpe is healthy enough to start Monday, but Jose Caballero will draw the start at shortstop and bat eighth for the series opener. Volpe and Caballero could be looking at split playing time in the two weeks leading up to the postseason.
