Caleb McConnell: Cut by Hornets

McConnell was waived by Charlotte on Wednesday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

McConnell, a second-year pro from Rutgers, is a candidate to join Charlotte's G League affiliate in Greensboro. He spent last season with the G League's Oklahoma City Blue.
