Howard provided 25 points (8-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 24 minutes during Sunday's 146-141 overtime loss to the Lakers.
Howard had plenty of explosive scoring games during his days at Marquette, but he's struggled to find a consistent rotation spot with the Nuggets. He carved out a larger role last season after Jamal Murray went down, but Howard has played double-digit minutes only six times in 2021-22.
