The Pelicans transferred Hill from the G League's Birmingham Squadron to the NBA squad on Saturday.
Hill will return to the NBA club after a brief stint in the G League. The 28-year-old has yet to make his Pelicans debut and might not be featured in the rotation Saturday against the Bulls, even if he's active for the contest.
