Spurs' Keldon Johnson: Inactive Thursday

Johnson won't play in Thursday's preseason game versus the Rockets for rest purposes, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Johnson will sit out Thursday's preseason finale for rest purposes alongside Victor Wembanyama, Chris Paul and Jeremy Sochan. All of these players should be able to suit up for the Spurs' regular-season opener against the Mavericks on Oct. 24.
