Wanamaker was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Wanamaker drew the start at point guard during his first game with the Wizards, posting seven points, seven assists, five rebounds and two steals. In his absence, rookie Corey Kispert and two-way players Joel Ayayi and Cassius Winston are all candidates to enter the starting lineup.
