Ariza posted 22 points (7-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one steal and one block across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 121-105 victory over the Suns. Ariza continued his strong play Tuesday, hitting a season-high five threes in the victory over Phoenix. Since the All-Star break, he's averaging 12.0 points on 7.8 shots, plus 5.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 35.5 minutes. Ariza's stretch of performances makes him a strong option for the fantasy playoffs in most leagues.
Ariza posted 17 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 127-117 loss to the Suns. Ariza has provided strong contributions for the Trail Blazers as they hunt the eighth seed in the Western Conference playoff race. Across the past 11 games, he's averaging 12.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and a combined 2.5 steals-plus-blocks. He's also shooting an efficient 51.2 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from distance and 87.9 percent from the charity stripe. Ariza should be owned in most fantasy formats while he continues playing like this.
Ariza finished with eight points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four assists, one rebound and one steal in 37 minutes during Thursday's 106-100 loss to Indiana. Ariza struggled from the field in the loss, unable to replicate his strong scoring night from only 48 hours prior. Over the past two weeks, Ariza has been a top-90 player across standard leagues, albeit with a positive contribution in steals and field goal percentage only. He can have 12-team value, but his upside is certainly capped and not everyone is going to need what he can offer moving forward.
Ariza compiled 17 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 118-106 loss to the Celtics. Ariza continues to play a big role for the Trail Blazers, who are without their primary ball handler in Damian Lillard (groin). Ariza's scoring has been far from consistent since he joined the franchise; however, he has been a steady source of steals. The playing time is basically assured right now, and he should at least be considered in 12-team formats, especially if you are lacking in defensive production.
Ariza recorded 21 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five assists, four rebounds, three steals and a block across 39 minutes during Sunday's win over the Heat. Ariza topped 20 points for the third time since joining the Trail Blazers towards the end of January. While Sunday's outburst was impressive, the veteran forward's struggled with his consistency on offense. Since joining Portland, Ariza's managed to generate 10.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game but has cracked double digits on just those three occasions.
