Buccaneers CB Mike Jenkins logs 51 snaps in Week 5 start

Buccaneers cornerback Mike Jenkins logged 51 snaps in place of the injured Johnthan Banks in Week 5, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Jenkins only produced a tackle and pass defensed over those 51 plays, but figures to continue to start after the bye week if Banks is not ready for a return. The veteran corner is receiving his first meaningful playing time since his stint with the Raiders in 2013.
