Cam Smith: Gets waived by Miami

The Dolphins waived Smith (undisclosed) from their reserve/non-football illness list Tuesday.

Smith was placed on Miami's reserve/non-football illness list before the start of the regular season with an unspecified ailment, and it's still not clear where he's at in his recovery. Assuming he's not claimed by another team during the current waiver period, he's on track to become a free agent.
