Colts' Andrew Vollert: Injures ankle during Friday's game

Vollert (ankle) didn't return after injuring his ankle during Friday's preseason contest against the Lions, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

The extent of the injury is unknown. Vollert recently joined the Colts as they dealt with a small COVID-19 outbreak that opened up numerous roster spots. The Weber State product spent the majority of last season on Indianapolis' practice squad.
