Corn Elder: Joins Carolina's practice squad

The Panthers signed Elder to their practice squad Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Elder was waived by the Lions after missing an extended period of training camp with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Panthers, appearing in 30 total games and registering 43 tackles.
