I used to assume everyone was told the story about the boy who cried wolf when they were young. I've recently found out that's not true, so I'll try to boil it down to a paragraph.

A shepherd boy is watching the sheep on a hill above the town. He gets bored because he's all alone, so he yells "wolf!". People come running to help him, but no wolf. He does this multiple times and everyone stops believing him. Then an actual wolf comes, he yells, no one responds and...well, use your imagination.

I fear that's where we are with Derrick Henry in Dynasty right now. Fantasy analysts have been consistently wrong about him, citing his lack of work in the passing game, his previous usage, etc. And he's been awesome. Now, he is recovering from foot surgery and will almost certainly be 28 years old before he plays football again.

But no one seems to care.

I say this because I ran some Twitter polls on Wednesday afternoon and Henry gashed everyone around him on the trade chart below as if they were the Texans defense. Darren Waller and J.K. Dobbins were the only two players who came within 10% of Henry in polling. Which means that the voters, or at least a plurality of them, are still viewing Henry as a borderline No. 1 running back, or a high-end No. 2 at the very least.

This appears to be a big mistake by the voters. The history of running backs after age 27 is pretty miserable in itself. Coming off of foot surgery only complicates matters. I say this knowing that Henry has proven us wrong every step of the way, and that his career gives people very good reason to believe the rules do not apply to him.

I only have Henry on one Dynasty roster, partially because I traded him away in another league before the season. These poll results have encouraged me to put him on the block in the lone league I have him. I would encourage you to do the same.
