Football Team's Corn Elder: Signs with Washington

Washington signed Elder on Wednesday.

Washington signed Elder after it placed Darryl Roberts (quadriceps) on injured reserve. The 27-year-old corner will likely serve as a depth option until Roberts is able to return. Elder spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Panthers, appearing in 30 total games and registering 43 tackles.
