Jermaine Jackson: Gets let go

Jackson was waived/injured by the Saints on Saturday with an undisclosed injury, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Jackson signed with New Orleans as an undrafted free agent in April. It is unclear what specific injury led to this transaction. If he ultimately goes unclaimed while on waivers, the pass catcher would revert to the Saints' injured reserve. From there, his season would be over unless both parties can come to an injury settlement down the line.
