Jets' C.J. Mosley: Officially out for Week 7

Mosley (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots.

After failing to practice in any capacity this week and taking a doubtful tag into Sunday, Mosley never looked like a good bet to suit up against New England. With the Jets' top tackler sidelined for the Week 7 matchup, rookie Jamien Sherwood is expected to step into a starting role at middle linebacker.
