Tuck has opted to retire from the NFL.
After his 11th professional season ended prematurely due to a torn right pectoral, it's no surprise that Tuck has decided to join teammate Charles Woodson in retirement. Prior to landing in Oakland, though, he was a veritable force in a fearsome defensive front for the Giants, winning Super Bowls in 2007 and 2011. Overall, he'll conclude his career with four double-digit sack campaigns en route to 66.5 sacks in 147 games, during which he also contributed 22 forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries, and three interceptions (one for a touchdown).
