Panthers' Brendan Mahon: Lands on IR

Mahon (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.

Mahon played nine special teams snaps over the course of his rookie season. He's been replaced by fellow undrafted rookie guard Taylor Hearn on the Panthers' 53-man roster.
