Panthers' Brendan Mahon: Won't play Sunday

Mahon (personal) didn't travel with the team and will sit out of Sunday's game versus the Lions, Bill Voth of the Panthers' official site reports.

Mahon's dealing with a family matter, but he was only active for two games before this outing so it won't change the offensive dynamic much.
