Redskins' Jason Hatcher: Released by Redskins

Hatcher has been released by the Redskins, The Washington Post reports.

Hatcher was previously reported to be considering retirement, after knee inflammation and a stinger hindered him during this past season. In fact, the 33-year-old Hatcher posted just 20 tackles and two sacks in 2015, marking his lowest figures in five years. After signing a four-year, $27.5 million deal in 2014, Hatcher's market figures to be considerably cooler as he enters free agency this time around.
