Saints' Sincere Haynesworth: Reverts to IR

Haynesworth (knee) reverted to New Orleans' injured reserve Thursday after clearing waivers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Haynesworth suffered a sprained MCL in his knee in the second half of Sunday's preseason game against the 49ers. He'll now be forced to sit out for the entire 2024 season unless an injury settlement is reached with the Saints.
