Cook rushed 18 times for 78 yards and did not record a reception on two targets in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Cowboys.

Cook had been battling an off-and-on ankle injury this season, but he got the benefit of extra rest during the team's Week 7 bye. The star back didn't turn in a poor effort -- it just wasn't up to his lofty standards. The big win for his managers was that the ankle appeared to hold up just fine during the contest.
