Fix-Wolansky was waived Wednesday for the purpose of sending him to AHL Cleveland, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic.
Fix-Wolansky had two goals and three points in 11 games with Columbus last year. He also recorded 26 goals and 60 points in 58 regular-season outings with AHL Cleveland. The 25-year-old has established himself over the past two campaigns as a fantastic offensive force at the AHL level, but on the occasions he's gotten a chance to play in the NHL, it's typically been in a bottom-six capacity.
