Blues' Nikita Alexandrov: Headed for minors

Alexandrov was reassigned to AHL Springfield on Tuesday.

Alexandrov played in 23 regular-season contests for the Blues last year in which he notched two assists, 15 shots and 29 hits while averaging 8:32 of ice time. Even though the 24-year-old center won't be on the Opening Night roster, he should still earn the occasional call-up this year.
