Blues' Sam Anas: Goes to waiver wire

Anas was waived by the Blues on Monday, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Anas has spent all four years since college in the minors, accruing 72 goals and 125 assists in that stretch. The 27-year-old likely won't see any NHL work again this year due to the Blues' depth at forward, meaning he'll be assigned to AHL Utica once he clears waivers.
