Bruins' Jeffrey Viel: Loaned to AHL affiliate

Viel was reassigned to AHL Providence on Monday.

Viel hasn't earned a point in three NHL outings this season while posting three shots on goal, six hits and one blocked shot. With Trent Frederic (lower body) unavailable and Brad Marchand (upper body) day-to-day, Viel could return to the NHL ranks ahead of Tuesday's matchup versus Nashville.
