Bruins' Marc McLaughlin: Called up from minors

McLaughlin was promoted from AHL Providence on Friday.

McLaughlin will trade places with Georgi Merkulov, who was sent down in a corresponding move. While far from a lock, McLaughlin could make his season debut for the Bruins in Saturday's matchup with the Red Wings -- though he will likely need to edge out veteran Tyler Johnson for a spot in the lineup.
