Capitals' Matt Roy: Ready to rock

Roy (upper body) participated in Tuesday's practice and will play in Wednesday's regular-season opener versus Boston, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Roy sustained an injury in Saturday's preseason finale but made a quick recovery before Opening Night. He accounted for three goals, 24 points, 84 shots on net, 113 blocked shots and 114 hits across 69 games during the 2024-25 regular season.
