Capitals' Mike Vecchione: Snags one-year deal

Vecchione inked a one-year, two-way contract with Washington on Monday.

Vecchione has played in just one game for the Capitals this year in which he registered three shots and a minus-1 rating in just 5:06 of ice time. In Vecchione has played in just three NHL games since during pro back in 2016-17 and figures to serve primarily as an AHL player despite his two-way deal.
