Capitals' Nic Dowd: Won't practice Tuesday

Dowd will miss Tuesday's training camp session due to personal reasons, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Dowd has been nothing but consistent for the Caps over the last four years, reaching both the 10-goal and 20-point thresholds in each of the previous four seasons. It should be more of the same from the veteran center this year, as he figures to remain in a bottom-six role while seeing time on the penalty kill.
