Bancroft won't receive a qualifying offer from the Predators, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday, Nick Kieser of Lower Broad Hockey reports.
Bancroft hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he split AHL time between Providence and Milwaukee during the 2025-26 campaign after being traded to the Predators from the Bruins. Across 49 regular-season appearances with the two minor-league clubs, he recorded a goal, five assists and 30 PIM.
