Devils' Adam Beckman: Out with injury

Beckman (lower body) was placed on the injured non-roster list Monday.

It's unclear when Beckman was injured, but he's not ready to play to begin the campaign. He'll likely head to AHL Utica once he's healthy. The 23-year-old has amassed three assists, 26 shots on net and 17 hits over 23 career NHL appearances.
