Devils' Kaapo Kahkonen: Practicing with New Jersey

Kahkonen (not injury related) practiced with the Devils on Sunday, Amanda Stein of the team's official site reports.

Kahkonen didn't arrive from San Jose in time to back up Nico Daws on Saturday, but he appears ready to go ahead of the Devils' next game Monday versus the Rangers. Kahkonen went 6-20-3 with an .895 save percentage and 3.82 GAA with the Sharks this season. He figures to split goaltending duties with Daws and Jake Allen in New Jersey.
