Blackwood stopped 23 of 25 shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Flyers.

Blackwood has now allowed just two goals in each of his last two starts after opening the year with at least three goals against in five of six outings. The 24-year-old improved to 4-1-2 with a 2.72 GAA and a .922 save percentage in eight games overall. Blackwood has started five of the Devils' last six contests, so he's successfully fended off Jonathan Bernier for the No. 1 job in net. Blackwood is likely to start Tuesday in a favorable matchup against the Sharks.
