Devils' Zack MacEwen: Put on injured reserve

MacEwen (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.

MacEwen has no points, four shots, six hits and one block in three appearances with New Jersey this season. His placement on IR means that he won't be an option for Saturday's game in Washington or Tuesday's tilt in Tampa Bay. Nathan Legare was recalled from AHL Utica in a corresponding move.
