Islanders' Andy Greene: Healthy scratch once again

Greene will be a healthy scratch for his sixth straight game Saturday when the Islanders take on the Kings, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Coach Barry Trotz seems to have decided that he is better off with the offense of Sebastian Aho than he is with the defense of Greene as the Isles have struggled to score goals. Trotz can always change his mind, and maybe he will when the Islanders take on the Ducks on Sunday, but Greene rides the pine for now. Prospect Robin Salo is also an option to dress on the blue line over Greene.
