Jason Cotton: Contract terminated

Cotton will have his contract with the Hurricanes terminated after clearing waivers Wednesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.

Cotton has spent most of the 2020-21 campaign in the ECHL after signing a one-year, entry-level contract with the Hurricanes in March of 2020. He may have to head overseas in order to continue his professional playing career.
