Jets' Morgan Barron: Headed to IR

Barron (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Friday, according to the NHL media site.

Barron has missed the last two games while being considered week-to-week, and now, he'll head to injured reserve. The 26-year-old has been solid this season, registering six points through 12 games on the year. Assuming his absence isn't long term, Barron could challenge his career high of 21 points this season.
