Jets' Nikita Chibrikov: Sent to AHL

Chibrikov was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Thursday.

Chibrikov was called up by the Jets on Dec. 9, and he made four appearances with the NHL club, racking up two goals, one assist, nine hits and four blocked shots while averaging 11:24 of ice time. He'll likely see more consistent opportunities in the AHL but could rejoin Winnipeg at some point.
