Lightning's Jan Rutta: Sustains lower-body injury

Rutta won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Golden Knights after suffering a lower-body injury.

Rutta logged just 2:40 before exiting in the first period. There should be an update on the 29-year-old before Thursday's matchup versus the Penguins. After the game, coach Jon Cooper said Rutta will be out longer than day-to-day, Bryan Burns of the Lightning's official site reports. That puts his availability Thursday in serious doubt.
