Maple Leafs' Alex Biega: Sent to taxi squad

The Maple Leafs reassigned Biega to the taxi squad Friday.

Biega logged 14 minutes of ice time Jan. 1, his first NHL game of the season, after being recalled from the taxi squad. It would likely take more COVID-19 issues or injuries to Toronto's defense corps for Biega to play NHL minutes again this year.
