Mike Vecchione: Returned to AHL

The Capitals released Vecchione on Monday to AHL Hershey training camp.

Vecchione, who inked a two-year contract extension with the Bears in February through the 2024-25 season, had been attending camp with Washington on a tryout basis. He generated 23 goals and 55 points in 68 AHL contests last campaign.
