Penguins' Kevin Hayes: Activated from injured reserve

Hayes (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday.

Hayes could make his season debut Saturday in New Jersey. The 33-year-old center has been out of action since getting hurt during a practice in training camp. Should he enter the lineup Saturday, look for Ville Koivunen or Danton Heinen to be a healthy scratch. The Penguins placed Filip Hallander (leg) on injured reserve in a corresponding move.
