Rangers' Ben Harpur: Put on waivers

Harpur was placed on waivers Friday, according to PuckPedia.

Harpur had a goal and six points in 42 regular-season games with the Rangers in 2022-23, but he didn't play at all in the NHL last season. That's partially due to undergoing pectoral surgery in November, which ended his year after recording a goal and three points across seven contests with AHL Hartford. Harpur might get an opportunity to play with the Rangers this campaign, but it seems he will first have to spend more time in the minors.
