Red Wings' John Leonard: Assigned to AHL

Leonard was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Friday.

Leonard was recalled Jan. 4 and was held without a point in two games. He played seven games in December with the Red Wings, tallying two goals and two assists. The 27-year-old was a stud in the AHL before his recall, potting 20 goals and 12 assists in 23 games this season.
