Senators' Jiri Smejkal: Ascends to top level

Smejkal was recalled from AHL Belleville on Friday, per the AHL's transaction log.

The 27-year-old winger has one assist in 10 NHL games this season. Smejkal is eligible for the AHL playoffs due to his demotion Friday. He has eight goals and 11 assists in 39 AHL appearances in 2023-24.
