Daoust signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Senators on Thursday.
Daoust has split time between the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL and AHL Belleville this season, racking up 22 points through 17 junior-level appearances and five points through 15 minor-league appearances. The 2020 sixth-round pick will likely spend most, if not all of the 2022-23 campaign in the AHL.
