Senyshyn was traded to the Senators from the Bruins on Monday along with a 2022 fifth-round pick in exchange for Josh Brown and a conditional 2022 seventh-round pick.
Senyshyn has been withering away at AHL Providence for the entirety of the 2021-22 season, but perhaps Ottawa will have a lineup spot available with the big club for the 24-year-old winger. He appeared in just 14 games with the Bruins since being selected 15th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, posting one goal and two assists.
